SPIRALARMS: Right Kind Of Heavy

March 28, 2006

Former FORBIDDEN/MANMADEGOD and current SPIRALARMS guitarist Craig Locicero has issued the following update:

"For the last few months some pretty big changes have taken place in the SPIRAL. New bass player (Chris Lombardo),drummer Chris Kontos [ex-MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT] and the addition of a VERY good keyboardist Brad Barth have rounded out our sound. It's one hell of a jump! Tim [Narducci, guitar/vocals; ex-SYSTEMATIC] and I have always wanted SPIRALARMS to move quickly without over thinking things, we now have the musicians to make that happen with us.

"The first thing some of you may notice is how much more energy is in the songs. It just came out that way. It's the right kind of heavy for us at this stage. Everything just feels better, a natural progression. Also the listener may notice the songs are more pointed lyrically. We had to get some thing out there, or off our chest. No holding back or being politically correct. Both 'Bohemian Groove' and 'Like a Cancer' are statements on their own. While 'Go' and 'Mind's Eye' are more personal.

"We've played a couple of shows in the last two weeks and are truly blown away by the reaction and love everyone has given back to us. It's been a long time since I've seen so much positive feedback coming from fans like this. Something must be working!

"We hope you enjoy these songs as much as we enjoyed writing and recording them!"
